Exhibit location chart
A museum map is a guide showing the layout of a museum's galleries, exhibits, and facilities.
Visitors grab one at the entrance to navigate large institutions and plan their route: According to the museum map, the dinosaur hall is on the second floor.
The term also applies to digital wayfinding tools on museum apps.
