mischarged
Invoiced the wrong amount
Mischarged means charged incorrectly—either the wrong amount or to the wrong account.
A customer mischarged for an item paid more or less than the correct price: I was mischarged twenty dollars for the cable service.
A mischarged expense went to the wrong budget line or credit card.
The word also applies to batteries improperly charged and, rarely, to accusations wrongly leveled.
