mesh netting

Fabric with holes

Mesh netting is fabric or material made of interlaced strands with regular open spaces between them.

The term is somewhat redundant—mesh already implies the grid-like structure of netting—but appears in product descriptions and casual speech: mesh netting for garden protection, decorative mesh netting over the doorway.
