magic point
Caster's energy unit
Magic point is a unit of energy in video games that powers spells and special abilities.
Casting a fireball or healing spell costs magic points, which regenerate over time or through items.
Usually abbreviated MP: I'm out of MP, I can't cast anything.
The concept parallels hit points for health.
