magazine-fed
Cartridge box supplied
Magazine-fed describes a firearm that receives ammunition from a detachable or internal magazine rather than being loaded one round at a time.
The magazine holds multiple cartridges and feeds them into the chamber automatically: a magazine-fed rifle, magazine-fed pistols replaced revolvers in most military forces.
The term distinguishes these weapons from belt-fed, clip-fed, or single-shot designs.
