loose-box
Unrestrained equine enclosure
A loose-box is a stall or enclosure in a stable where a horse can move about freely, rather than being tied in place.
The term is primarily British: Each horse had its own loose-box with fresh bedding.
American English typically uses box stall for the same concept.
