limited prints
Scarce art reproductions
Limited prints are artworks reproduced in a fixed, predetermined quantity, each numbered to indicate its place in the edition: print 12 of 50.
The scarcity is deliberate—limiting supply increases collectibility and value.
Once the edition sells out, no more are made.
Artists typically sign each print and destroy the printing plate afterward to guarantee the edition remains closed.
