life model
Poses for artists
A life model is a person who poses nude or clothed for artists to draw, paint, or sculpt.
The term emphasizes that the subject is a living human rather than a mannequin or photograph: She worked as a life model for the art school.
Life models hold poses for extended periods, requiring stillness and physical stamina.
