launch party
New product gala
A launch party is an event celebrating the release of something new—a product, book, album, business, or creative project.
It combines celebration with promotion, introducing the thing being launched to press, industry insiders, or the public: The publisher threw a launch party for her debut novel.
We're planning a launch party for the new app.
