labeller

One who tags

A labeller is a person or device that applies labels.

In manufacturing, labellers are machines that affix product labels to bottles, packages, or containers.

A person who labels things—whether physically attaching stickers or categorizing people and ideas—is also a labeller: Critics dismissed him as a labeller of political opponents.

Also spelled labeler.
