kith and kin
Friends and family
Kith and kin means friends and family—one's entire social circle of close relationships.
Kith originally meant acquaintances or neighbors, while kin means blood relatives.
The phrase survives as a fixed expression even though kith has fallen out of independent use: She invited all her kith and kin to the celebration.
