Skateboard spins underfoot
A kick flip is a skateboarding trick where the rider ollies (jumps) while simultaneously flicking the edge of the board with their front foot, causing the board to spin lengthwise beneath them before landing back on it: He finally landed a clean kick flip after months of practice.
Also spelled kickflip.
The trick is foundational to street skating and serves as a gateway to more complex flip variations.
