kibbitzer

Nosy card watcher

A kibbitzer is someone who offers unwanted advice or commentary, especially while watching others play cards or chess.

The word comes from Yiddish and carries a sense of meddlesome spectating—the kibbitzer isn't playing but can't resist telling players what they should do: Every kibbitzer at the table had an opinion about my bid.

By extension, any uninvited commentator on someone else's activity.
