infrared laser
Invisible light projector
An infrared laser emits light in the infrared spectrum—wavelengths longer than visible red light.
These lasers are used in fiber optic communications, remote controls, night vision devices, and medical procedures.
Because the beam is invisible to the human eye, infrared lasers can be particularly hazardous: The warning label noted the infrared laser could cause eye damage before you even knew it was on.
