in-person meetings
Physical presence conferences
In-person meetings are gatherings where participants are physically present in the same location, as opposed to meeting remotely by phone or video.
The term gained prominence as remote work became common, creating a need to distinguish face-to-face interaction from virtual alternatives: We handle routine updates over Zoom but schedule in-person meetings for major decisions.
Also called face-to-face meetings.
