in-memory
Stored in RAM
In-memory describes data storage or processing that happens in a computer's RAM rather than on disk.
In-memory databases and caches offer dramatically faster access because they skip the slower read/write operations of permanent storage: The application uses an in-memory cache to speed up queries.
The tradeoff is that data may be lost if power fails.

- volatileLiable to sudden change
- heapJumbled collection of items
- stackItems piled vertically
