hot dogging
Showing off athletically
Hot dogging is showing off with flashy, risky moves, especially in skiing, surfing, or skateboarding.
The term emerged from freestyle skiing culture but applies to any ostentatious display of skill: He was hot dogging down the slope, catching air off every mogul.
Someone who hot dogs is a hot dogger.
The behavior suggests prioritizing style and attention over safety or substance.
