hoppiness
Ale's floral bitterness
Hoppiness is the quality of tasting strongly of hops—the bitter, floral, or citrusy character that hops impart to beer.
The term appears almost exclusively in discussions of craft beer and brewing: This IPA has a pleasant hoppiness without being overwhelming.
A beer with high hoppiness tastes distinctly bitter or aromatic from its hop content.
