home stand
Local games stretch
A home stand is a series of consecutive games played by a sports team at their home venue.
The term is most common in baseball, where teams may host the same opponent for multiple games or play several series back-to-back before traveling: The Yankees open a seven-game home stand against Boston.
The opposite is a road trip.
