Dented crown hat
A homburg is a man's felt hat with a lengthwise crease in the crown and a stiff, upturned brim.
More formal than a fedora but less so than a top hat, it became associated with diplomats and businessmen in the early twentieth century: He wore a dark homburg to the funeral.
Named after the German spa town where it originated.
