holy mass
Liturgical worship ceremony
Holy mass is the principal worship service in Roman Catholic and some other Christian traditions, centering on the consecration of bread and wine as the body and blood of Christ.
The ritual reenacts the Last Supper and Christ's sacrifice.
Catholics are expected to attend mass on Sundays and holy days: We go to holy mass every Sunday.
Usually just mass.
