hackysack
Foot-juggled beanbag
Hackysack is a small, soft ball kicked between players who try to keep it aloft without using their hands.
The game emerged in the 1970s and became associated with casual outdoor gatherings, college campuses, and hippie culture.
Players stand in a circle, passing the ball with feet, knees, and chest: We played hackysack in the quad between classes.
Also spelled hacky sack.
