gun run
Illegal arms transport
A gun run is the act of illegally transporting or smuggling firearms, typically across borders or into areas where they're prohibited: The cartel organized gun runs from Arizona into Mexico.
The term also appears in military and video game contexts for an aircraft's strafing pass—flying low while firing weapons at ground targets: The pilot made another gun run over the enemy position.
