guest judge
Visiting competition evaluator
A guest judge is someone who joins a panel temporarily to evaluate contestants or performances, typically on competition shows.
The guest judge appears for one episode or a limited run, bringing fresh perspective or celebrity appeal alongside the regular judges: This week's guest judge is a Grammy-winning producer.
