graphic equalizer
Frequency band controller
A graphic equalizer is an audio device that adjusts volume levels across different frequency bands, letting you boost or cut bass, midrange, and treble independently.
The name comes from its row of vertical sliders—their positions form a visual graph of the frequency adjustments.
Common on stereos and music software: I boosted the low end on the graphic equalizer.
