gimlets
Vodka with lime
A gimlet is a small hand tool for boring holes, with a screw tip and a T-shaped handle you twist with your palm.
The cocktail gimlet—gin or vodka with lime juice—takes its name from the tool's sharp, penetrating quality.
Gimlet eyes are similarly piercing: She fixed him with a gimlet stare.
