giant bubbles

Giant bubbles are soap bubbles much larger than those made with standard wands—often several feet across.

They're created using special solutions with added glycerin or polymers and oversized wands, typically two sticks connected by string or fabric.

The term covers both the bubbles themselves and the hobby of making them: We spent the afternoon doing giant bubbles in the park.
