foldouts
Pages that unfold
Foldouts are pages in a book or magazine that are larger than the standard page size and folded to fit within the binding.
The reader unfolds them to reveal oversized maps, diagrams, charts, or images: The atlas included several foldouts showing detailed topography.
Also called gatefolds when they fold from the side.
