foil balloons
Shiny party decorations
Foil balloons are balloons made from thin metallic polyester film rather than latex rubber.
They hold helium longer, come in elaborate shapes and printed designs, and have a distinctive shiny, reflective surface: The party store had foil balloons shaped like cartoon characters.
Also called Mylar balloons, after a common brand of the material.
