fly-half
Backline's tactical leader
A fly-half is a position in rugby union, the player who typically receives the ball from the scrum-half and directs attacking play.
The fly-half kicks for territory, orchestrates backline moves, and often takes penalty kicks and conversions.
Also called a stand-off or outside-half: The fly-half slotted the conversion from the touchline.
