floweth

Moves like water

Floweth is an archaic third-person singular form of flow, using the -eth ending that was standard in Early Modern English: The river floweth to the sea.

It survives mainly in religious texts, poetry, and deliberate archaism.

The phrase my cup runneth over from Psalm 23 preserves this construction.
