flightiness
Lack of focus
Flightiness is the quality of being fickle, scattered, or unable to settle on one thing.
It suggests a mind that flits from subject to subject like a bird that won't perch: Her flightiness made her unreliable for long-term projects.
The word often carries a dismissive tone, especially when applied to women.
