flat peach
Disc-shaped stone fruit
A flat peach is a variety of peach with a flattened, disc-like shape rather than the typical round form.
Also called a donut peach or Saturn peach.
The flesh tends to be sweeter and less acidic than conventional peaches, with a smaller pit relative to the amount of fruit: Flat peaches are easier to eat without juice running down your chin.
