flat horizon
Where earth meets
A flat horizon is a horizon line that appears level and unbroken, without hills, buildings, or other features interrupting it.
The term describes what you see looking across open ocean, prairie, or desert: The flat horizon stretched endlessly before us.
In flat earth discourse, a flat horizon is cited as supposed evidence that the earth lacks curvature.
