Brushed cotton fabric
Flannelette is a soft cotton fabric napped on one or both sides to imitate flannel.
It's lighter and less expensive than true flannel, commonly used for pajamas, sheets, and baby clothes: flannelette sheets, a flannelette nightgown.
The napping gives it a fuzzy surface that traps warmth.
