flag decal
Adhesive national emblem
A flag decal is a small adhesive image of a flag, typically a national flag, meant to be displayed on vehicles, windows, or other surfaces.
In the United States, flag decals became symbols of patriotism, especially during wartime, though they also carry connotations of political conservatism: Every pickup in the lot had a flag decal on the bumper.
