fish cages
Underwater livestock corrals
Fish cages are enclosures of netting or mesh suspended in open water to contain fish for aquaculture.
They allow water to flow through while keeping farmed fish—typically salmon, trout, or tilapia—confined for feeding and harvesting.
Also called net pens or sea cages when deployed in marine environments.
