Woodshop safety fingers
Featherboards are woodworking safety devices that hold stock firmly against a table or fence while cutting.
They consist of a board with flexible fingers cut at an angle, which apply steady pressure to the workpiece while allowing it to move in only one direction.
I clamped featherboards on both sides of the blade to keep the board from kicking back.
