examination hall
Where tests happen
An examination hall is a large room where students sit for formal tests, typically at universities or for standardized exams.
The term is more common in British English and Commonwealth countries than in American English, where "exam room" or "testing center" might be used instead: Candidates must arrive at the examination hall fifteen minutes before the scheduled start time.
