enfeeblements

Acts of debilitation

Enfeeblements are instances or processes of weakening—the plural of enfeeblement.

The word applies to physical decline, as in aging or illness, but extends to abstract weakening: the enfeeblements of prolonged isolation, successive enfeeblements of constitutional protections.

The term is formal and somewhat literary.
