endleaf
Binding's inner page
An endleaf is a blank page at the beginning or end of a book, part of the endpaper that connects the text block to the cover.
These leaves serve both structural and aesthetic purposes, protecting the first and last printed pages while providing a finished appearance.
Also called a flyleaf.
