elfland
Realm of sprites
Elfland is the realm where elves dwell—a magical, otherworldly domain in folklore and fantasy literature.
The word evokes enchantment and strangeness, a place operating by different rules than the mortal world: She wandered into elfland and returned changed.
Sometimes used figuratively for any dreamy or fantastical state of mind.
