ectomorphs
Naturally thin builds
Ectomorphs are people with a lean, slender body type characterized by narrow shoulders, long limbs, and little body fat or muscle mass.
The term comes from a classification system developed in the 1940s that sorted human physiques into three categories: ectomorph, mesomorph, and endomorph.
Though the underlying theory has been largely discredited, these body-type labels persist in fitness and nutrition discussions.
Ectomorphs often struggle to gain weight or build muscle mass.
