earloops
Hold masks on
Earloops are the elastic bands or cords on a face mask that hook around the ears to hold it in place.
The term became ubiquitous during the COVID-19 pandemic: These masks have adjustable earloops.
Earloops may also refer to the curved parts of eyeglasses that rest over the ears.
