ear wiggling
Voluntary pinna motion
Ear wiggling is the ability to move one's ears voluntarily, typically by contracting the auricular muscles.
Most people lack conscious control of these muscles, making ear wiggling a minor novelty—something children discover they can or can't do: She entertained the kids by wiggling her ears.
The skill serves no practical purpose but persists as a party trick.
