dust-up
Minor physical confrontation
A dust-up is a brief, usually minor fight or quarrel.
The term suggests a scuffle that stirs up dust—something quick and not too serious: There was a dust-up in the parking lot after the game.
It can also describe heated arguments or disputes: The candidates had a dust-up over tax policy.
