Duplex printing is printing on both sides of a sheet of paper, either automatically or by manually flipping pages.
The term comes from duplex meaning twofold or double.
Most office printers offer duplex capability to save paper: Enable duplex printing to cut your paper use in half.
The opposite is simplex or single-sided printing.
