keg party
Fraternity drinking event
A keg party is a social gathering, typically among college students or young adults, where beer is served from one or more kegs rather than individual bottles or cans.
The keg serves as both practical bulk purchase and social centerpiece: We're throwing a keg party this weekend.
The term evokes casual, often rowdy celebrations with beer pong, red plastic cups, and crowds spilling onto lawns.
