dragon boating
Synchronized canoe racing
Dragon boating is a paddling sport in which teams race long, narrow boats decorated with dragon heads and tails.
The boats carry up to twenty paddlers who stroke in unison to a drummer's beat.
The sport originated in ancient Chinese festival traditions and has become a competitive event worldwide: Our office formed a dragon boating team for the corporate regatta.
