downloads folder
Received files location
A downloads folder is the default location on a computer or phone where files from the internet are saved—browser downloads, email attachments, app installations.
It tends to accumulate clutter: My downloads folder is a graveyard of PDFs I opened once.
Most operating systems create one automatically in the user's home directory.
